Food was rlly good, I demolished everything I ordered and the drinks were amazing as well. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was clean and approachable. would definitely recommend 👍

Absolutely amazing food! Such divine flavours and portion sizes were spot on. Lovely lady greeted us and served us throughout, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying.

Poppadoms and dips with drinks came while we glanced at the menu. My husband and I are vegetarian and straight away we saw the veggie options stand out as they had Green leaf on them. Our group ordered
2 Chicken tikka + 2 Chilli Paneer - they were all flavoursome and hot in temperatures (I'd have it again).
Mains - Shadi Paneer & Garlic Naan, Paneer Jalfrezi & Garlic Naan, Paneer Dhansak (it's not on the menu but the Will make it as requested), Chicken tikka Masala Fried Rice & Garlic Naan. All mains came piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious.
For an Indian I was pleasantly surprised to have such an amazing restaurant in Stratford Upon Avon.
The staff & management are lovely. Very attaintve as the kept asking if everything was ok & if we needed anything else. We had a lovely chat with the manager. We wish him all the best with his new venture
While we sat there I saw many people coming in to collect their takeaway and a deliveroo guy. They were busy.
I will definitely be coming back & recommend it to everyone.....

Been here 3 times now and never been disappointed. The meals have always been delicious with a generous enough portion. On our last visit we took 6 friends along with us and they all said how much they enjoyed their food and would definitely go again. The chefs, waiting staff and Zain all took care of us to make it a pleasant experience.

The staff were welcoming and very accomodating. We ordered a curry and some sides, everything was cooked to perfection. The curry was pouring with flavour 🤤 It is right in the heart of the tourists attractions, definitely worth the visit! (Halal establishments!)

Just been to eat at this restaurant and so glad that we did. The staff are very welcoming and looked after us very well, the service was great and they are regularly checking if you need anything. The restaurant has a very warm welcoming feel to it and is very clean. We ordered quite a few dishes and mocktails and it was all very tasty, prices are very reasonable aswel. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really good time here at No1 celebrating our daughter's new job. The restaurant is spacious, no tables right next to each other. Our food was hot (also served on hot plates), tasty and just the right sized portions - though we all commented that the naans were not as "fluffy" as others we'd eaten. The service was spot on. Also, we thought the prices were reasonable. Very good overall.

We started with some cocktails (which were amazing) and shared a mixed grill to kick things off. The curries we had for mains were packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without being over the top.
If you’re looking for somewhere with great food, good drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere, NO1 Taj is definitely worth a visit.- Service

While working away with work, a quick Google of places to eat for the area as I fancied an Indian, on looking at Google it had decent reviews, so decided to visit, bearing in mind it's January & it's middle of the week, first impressions, when I walked in, wasn't very busy, but it was very clean & warm, was approached by a lovely member of staff called Una, as I found out later her name, I was presented the menu & asked if I required a drink & also if I'd like poppadoms, these all arrived promptly, my order was taken & I only had to wait for my food around 10minutes, to which I ordered tandoori mixed grill, boiled rice, tikka sauce, Peshawar naan & a portion of onion bhajis, see enclosed pictures, all served very hot & presented well, overall great service by all staff, great food, value for money, I'd recommend to others if your in the area & I'd definitely visit again, I even spoke to the owner, very nice bloke & I even was offered a drink of my choice on paying my bill, great hospitality for a working night away from home, overall a great Indian restaurant in Stratford, I always leave a honest & truthful review of places I visit 👍👍- Food

Came here with my Team as I was in the area for Rail live 2025. The food was absolutely incredible. Being Indian, I don’t often eat a curry out as it doesn’t often taste as authentic, but this was honestly the closest to my Nan’s cooking that I’ve ever had out. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing traditional curry in Stratford on Avon. Fantastic signature combo’s and extremely reasonable prices! I have eaten in and had take away and it is just as good every time. Lunch or dinner is also available, which is rare!!!
